BREAKING: JD Vance Announces New Assistant AG in Charge of Fraud

US Department of Justice grows in the wake of widespread fraud and political violence.

In a press conference today, Vice President JD Vance announced a new office at the Department of Justice. A new assistant  attorney general will be appointed to investigate and prosecute fraud.

The new office will lead the federal investigation of the widespread welfare fraud uncovered in Minnesota, Ohio, and California. However, Vice President Vance also tied the new office to political violence after the question-and-answer segment turned from welfare fraud to the incident – also in Minnesota – in which a protester interfered with ICE operations while in her vehicle and was shot as a result.

The government position is that the woman was trying to run over the ICE agent – and, in fact, that she did strike him with her vehicle – and therefore the shooting was an act of self-defense. The progressive left and much of the establishment media, on the other hand, presents the incident as an angry ICE agent murdering a US citizen for conducting a legal protest.

VP Vance called the new office in the DOJ the “critical piece” in the federal government’s investigation of the fraud and the violence. He also said that President Donald Trump will be making a nomination to fill the new position soon and that Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) promised a quick confirmation vote in the Senate.
