Editor’s Note: Everyone’s got an opinion, but who has the facts? At LibertyNation.com, we like to say, “Truth is Making a Comeback because Facts Matter.” So, each week, our editorial staff combs through the noise to bring you the highlights of what the president did and said.

October 28 – Mr. Trump addressed the 126th Annual Conference of the International Association of Chiefs of Police: “You don’t hear it enough: You do an incredible job. The people in this country know it, and the people of this country love you. you don’t hear it from these people back here, but they love you. you don’t hear it from the fake news. the fake news doesn’t like talking about that, but they love you.”

October 29 – President Trump declared his commitment to ending the scourge of human trafficking. “My Administration is committed to leveraging every resource we have to confront this threat, to support the victims and survivors, and to hold traffickers accountable for their heinous crimes,” he said.

Master Sergeant Matthew Williams

October 30 – The president presented Master Sergeant Matthew Williams with the Congressional Medal of Honor for his heroism during the battle of Shok Valley. “Matt, we salute your unyielding service, your unbreakable resolve, and your untiring devotion to our great nation and the nation that we all love,” President Trump said. “Your spirit keeps our flag waving high, our families safe at home, and our hearts beating with American pride. On behalf of the entire nation – our great USA, our incredible United States of America – we are forever grateful for your life of service and your outstanding courage.”

October 31 – “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.” President Trump paid homage to this oft-quoted line first uttered by President Ronald Reagan as he declared November 2019 the first National American History and Founders Month. In his speech, the president highlighted the importance of an informed electorate: “To continue safeguarding our freedom, we must develop a deeper understanding of our American story. Studying our country’s founding documents and exploring our unique history – both the achievements and the challenges – is indispensable to the future success of our great Nation.”

November 1 – President Trump made a proclamation in honor of National Veterans and Military Families Month, saying “The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen who fight to defend our liberty embody courage, patriotism, and loyalty. These patriots safeguard the values that keep our great nation strong. During National Veterans and Military Families Month, we honor and express our deep appreciation for these brave men and women and their families.”
