
During the 15th annual BRICS summit, the coalition of emerging market economies announced that six countries have been formally invited to become members: Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). But while all the focus has been on the impact of the global de-dollarization campaign, another medium- and long-term impact could be on international energy markets.
