In the afternoon of April 8, three men drove a truck into a crowd of people on the shopping street Klarabergsgatan in Stockholm, Sweden, murdering at least four people and injuring many more.
Three men jumped out from inside and opened fire before trying to stab pedestrians, witnesses said. Two men were tackled to the ground and arrested but a third suspect went on the loose.
Police released CCTV of the man wearing a green jacket, white shoes and a grey hoodie. Police have confirmed the suspect arrested in Marsta resembles the man in the photos they released earlier.
The suspect is a thirty-nine year old man from Uzbekistan, and it is still unclear how long he has been in Sweden.
The police found that the man had expressed support for ISIS on social media. All the evidence points to this being yet another Islamist terror attack, modeled on the Islamic terror attack in Nice, Berlin and London recently. In all cases, vehicles were used as the murder weapon.
This recent terror attack falls into a disturbing pattern.
President Donald Trump was recently lambasted by the media for talking about what happened in Sweden “last night.” Nothing had happened in Sweden “last night”, the media pointed out. Trump then added that he was referring to a report about multiculturalism and integration problems in Sweden on Fox News.
Then something utterly weird happened. In response to this, the Swedish government denied that there were any problems with Muslim immigrants at all. In fact, they bragged about how good they were at integration.
In February of this year, Independent wrote:
Reacting to Mr Trump’s original remarks, Sweden’s foreign ministry spokeswoman Catarina Axelsson said the government was not aware of any “terror-linked major incidents”.
Sweden’s Security Police said it had no reason to change the terror threat level.
In March a study came out showing that Sweden allegedly was a world champion in integrating immigrants.
According to Telegraph:
Using a variety of different critiera, including employment opportunities, access to education and anti-discrimination legislation, experts from all around the world scored countries on how well their policies fitted with international standards upheld by the EU.
After Sweden, the four highest-ranking countries were Portugal, Canada, Finland and the Netherlands, while the bottom five were Lithuania, Malta, Slovakia, Cyprus and Latvia.
Despite being what is described as close to a utopia of multiculturalism, Sweden became the target of a vicious Islamist terror attack.
In fact, in spite of these massive efforts by Sweden to self-castigate and throwing welfare benefits at any immigrant who enters the country, Sweden has been in a constant decline on key social variables over the last few decades. The crime rate has increased dramatically, and rapes are through the roof giving Sweden the dubious title “rape capital of Europe.”
The immigrants are not doing well in school and are the source of declining Swedish educational scores, according to Sveriges Radio. Immigration is also the leading source of increased inequality.
In short, Sweden has done everything right according to both themselves and to multiculturalist studies. What has Sweden received in return for their generosity, anti-discrimination and open borders policy? Rape, crime and now also terror attacks. A society in decline.
As a consequence, many ethnic Swedes are now fleeing their native country. One of these Swedes is a refugee in Singapore. Based on his own experience he has made a mini-documentary comparing Sweden and Singapore. Singapore has a large Muslim population, but is not suffering from terrorism. In order to understand how the latest terrorist attack could happen in what used to be one of the safest and most developed countries in the world, the video below is well worth watching.
