The Supreme Court of the United States issued its decision in the case Trump v. Anderson which ruled former President Donald Trump can remain on the ballot in Colorado. The case achieved national importance when the Colorado Supreme Court decided that Trump was ineligible to appear on the primary ballot because he had violated the insurrection clause of the Constitution.
All nine Justices were in agreement, determining that only Congress has the power to apply the disqualification under this clause.
