Welcome one and all to the holy month of Ramadan. While Muslims across the world are fasting and praying, they are also killing and injuring in substantial numbers. Ramadan officially kicked off on Tuesday, May 15th and is rolling out the red carpet for the enemies of Islam. Indeed, the so-called “religion of peace” is instituting a reign of terror, according to a non-partisan website which catalogs such things.
According to TheReligionOfPeace.com, 792 people were killed and 967 injured in the last 30 days. These were part of 146 attacks that took place in 25 countries across the globe. In terms of numbers, Afghanistan wins the gold medal leaving most everyone else in the dust. But Syria, Iraq, and Nigeria top the most grizzly list.
A case in point is when Boko Haram attached bombs to two young girls, ages 13 and 16 and sent them into a rival mosque on May 9th in Jiddari Polo, Nigeria. But there are so very many more atrocious acts of violence, it’s difficult to choose which ones to highlight.
Here are just a few for your reading pleasure:
- In Waaka, Mali, two elderly men in their 80s were shot in the head by brave Jihadists.
- In Mochiwala, Pakistan, a woman and her daughter were gunned down by her brother over suspected sexual promiscuity.
- A man outside an opera house in Paris, France, yelled praises to Allah and stabs a passerby.
- In Jacobabad, Pakistan, two young lovers were machine-gunned to death in the name of ‘honor.’
- In Taji, Iraq, eight mourners at a funeral were relieved of their sadness by a suicide bomber.
Authorities are in the Cross Hairs
Among those murdered and maimed in just this single month were elected officials and those in law enforcement. A mayor in Hammam al-Alil was assassinated. Fourteen local police were executed by the Taliban in Afghanistan, and in India, a police vehicle was fired upon. So much for the rule of law and respect for authority.
Those that research, maintain, and publish this list say these are not “nominal Muslims killing for money or vendetta” but rather “incidents of deadly violence” that have been committed out of religious duty. They cite a mall shooting in Munich which was left off the list because it was not inspired by Islamic religiosity. As well, they don’t include deaths that are the result of combat.
A Frightening Reality
TheReligionOfPeace.com has cataloged 109 verses in the Quran that discuss waging war with the unbelieving infidels. Some of these, they write, “are quite graphic with commands to chop off heads and fingers.” And those that don’t join in the fun are warned that “Allah will send them to Hell” if they do not join in with the slaughter.
So, the next time some leftist talks to you about Islam being a religion of peace, perhaps you can ask them about these acts of brutality. Muslims are the victims in most of the cases mentioned herein. However, the obvious question that comes to mind is: What would happen should America be overrun with these “purveyors of peace”?
That, dear readers, would be a frightening reality to contemplate.
