Is Kamala Harris working with Mexico to import migrants? That’s what Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) claimed during his podcast, Verdict, on Labor Day. He was reacting to the announcement over the weekend that Mexico will provide escorted bus rides from the southern part of the country to the US border for non-citizens who have been granted asylum.
Cruz read from portions of an Associated Press article, particularly regarding how busing the migrants appears to be an “attempt to make applying for asylum appointments from southern Mexico more attractive to migrants who otherwise would push north to Mexico City or the border.”
About a week earlier, the US “expanded access to the CBP One application to southern Mexico,” Cruz said. Before, only immigrants in central and northern Mexico were allowed to apply. “They are actively encouraging, facilitating and accelerating the invasion at our southern border,” he declared. He also had some strong words regarding Mexico:
"So now the government of Mexico is actively aiding and assisting the human traffickers. They will provide bus rides throughout Mexico, along with armed escorts from police and soldiers to bring illegal immigrants to the border to invade this country. And they’re doing this because Kamala Harris wants them to do this."
Cruz added, “Because, in their view, if that happens, Democrats win every election forever and ever.”

Tren de Aragua Gang Takes Over Apartment Complex
Representative Greg Lopez (R-CO) introduced a bill this week that, if passed, would require the Department of Homeland Security secretary to issue detainers for illegal migrants who law enforcement know are affiliated with a gang. This came about partially after officials were made aware of the Tren de Aragua gang, a violent transnational group from Venezuela, gained a “stranglehold” on the Whispering Pines Apartments in Aurora, Colorado late last year. The members have reportedly been involved in violent assaults, murder threats, child prostitution, extortion, and strongarm tactics, Perkins Coie, a Denver law firm, wrote to city leaders in a nine-page report obtained by CBS News Colorado.
Migrant Stabbed Young Girl at Baseball Game
Dimas Gabriel Yanez, 26, an illegal immigrant from Honduras, reportedly stabbed a 14-year-old girl in the hand while she attended a baseball game in unincorporated Lowell, Indiana. When the girl’s mother tried to help, he allegedly tried to stab her as well before fleeing the scene. He was found and arrested later that day when he was in the process of cutting his hair, supposedly to change his appearance to make it harder to locate him. The sheriff’s office said Yanez had been deported to Honduras in 2018 and “may have been engaged in criminal activity across the United States since returning to the country illegally.” The teen girl was treated and released from the hospital.
