An active shooter situation at a transportation hub in San Jose, CA has left multiple people injured and dead, according to reports. The incident took place at around 06:30 AM on Wednesday morning.
According to Deputy Russell Davis of the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, the shooter is among the fatalities. Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) employees are said to be among the casualties, though as yet there is no confirmation that any of them were killed. The VTA storage and maintenance yard in central San Jose has since been evacuated.
Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) responded to the scene.
