A big day for primaries is sure to see some surprises, some upsets, and more than a few “establishment expectations.” With President Trump’s recent success in Singapore, will we see a flood of pro-Trump candidates gain the final few points? What happens in these all-important primaries will give an indication of the shape of American government come November, and may well decide the fate of the president in 2020.

Danny Tarkanian wins Nevada Republican congressional in GOP primary, beating off nine other candidates.
In Nevada, Dennis Hof, brothel owner and restauranteur, has just beaten incumbent state lawmaker James Oscarson in the Republican primary for a Southern Nevada Assembly seat.
Businessman Shawn Moody wins has won the Republican nomination for governor in the Maine primary. He previously stood as an independent candidate in 2016. This was the first statewide rollout of the ranked-choice voting system.
In South Carolina, state legislator Katie Arrington has beaten U.S. Rep. Mark Sanford in the GOP primary for his seat. This is the first time Sanford has lost an election. President Trump tweeted his support of Arrington in the final hours before polls closed.
Businessman and politician Steve Sisolak wins the Democratic nomination for governor in Nevada primary election
The U.S. Senator Dean Heller – the only Republican seeking re-election in a state won by Hillary Clinton – will face Dem Rep. Jackly Rosen in November. Heller said, “the only thing Jacky Rosen has done since getting to Congress is seek a promotion.”
Trump-endorsed Nevada AG, Adam Laxalt, wins the Republican nomination for governor. It is likely the strong endorsement of the president helped, “I strongly endorse Adam Laxalt for Governor of Nevada. Adam is smart, works hard, and knows how to win. He will be a great Governor. Also, will fight hard to lower your taxes and is tough on crime!”
The Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in the Nevada primary election goes to Dean Heller.
Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate in Nevada goes to Jacky Rosen.
In South Carolina’s Republican primary, U.S. Rep. Mark Sanford appears to be falling behind and admits to the waiting crowd that, “I’m going to lose this race.”
North Dakota: State Sen. Kelly Armstrong winsRepublican primary for U.S. House in North Dakota; in November he will face former state Sen. Mac Schneider.
Trump supporting South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster is forced into a runoff for the Republican gubernatorial nomination. He will face John Warren on June 26.
Rep. Kevin Cramer wins in Republican Senate primary in North Dakota. He will now face Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp.
It’s a primary runoff for governor in South Carolina election for Republican John Warren.
Kevin Cramer wins the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in North Dakota primary.
Heidi Heitkamp wins the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate in North Dakota primary election. She ran uncontested.
Virginia: Trump supporter Corey Stewart wins the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate. He will enter battle against former Hillary running-mate Sen. Tim Kaine.
U.S. Rep. Barbara Comstock wins the Republican primary in her northern Virginia district where she faces a the Dem nominee, state Sen. Jennifer Wexton. A must watch result!
