Illegal Immigrant – Weekly Crime Report

by | Aug 23, 2018 | Columns, Immigration

Illegal immigration may be a hot topic for politicians running for office, but as Americans, it should be an even greater area of concern. The left is determined to make us an open border country, allowing any and everyone in, no matter their criminal background. That’s why I feel it is important to highlight the serious crimes committed by so many illegal immigrants in this weekly report.

Week of August 16 – August 22, 2018

This is not an analysis, but rather a report of the more serious crimes committed by illegal aliens. While there may have been many more, hundreds even, arrests of illegal aliens for simple infractions, here we concentrate only on the most dangerous of offenses.

Mollie Tibbetts’ Murderer Caught

Iowa

The biggest story this week would have to be the arrest of Cristhian Bahena Rivera for the murder of 20-year-old Mollie Tibbetts. Rivera clamed he saw Tibbetts jogging and followed her, but when she threatened to call the police, he became angry. He later remembered putting her in his trunk and burying her body in a cornfield.

95-Year-Old Former Nazi Deported

Queens, NY

Another biggie in the news is the capture and deportation of Jakiw Palij, a former Nazi SS labor camp guard. Palij was an armed guard at Trawniki labor camp in 1943 in Poland, in which about 6,000 Jewish women, children, and men were shot in one of the single largest massacres of the Holocaust.

ICE: Romanian Weapons Trafficker Retuned After Sentencing

New York, NY

Cristian Vintila, 47, was returned to his home country of Romania and placed into custody after serving time in the U.S. for weapons trafficking and conspiracy to kill American citizens. Vintila was arrested in 2014 in Montenegro for conspiring with former European officials to sell weapons valued at $15 million to informants posing as Colombian rebels. He was indicted in New York and transferred to the U.S. to stand trial.

The Romanian was convicted on Feb. 9, 2018 of “conspiracy to kill officers and employees of the U.S., and conspiracy to provide material support or resources to a foreign terrorist organization.” He only received 48 months imprisonment before being transferred to ICE in June.

“Returning individuals like Vintila continues to be among ICE’s highest priorities,” said Thomas Decker, field office director for ERO New York. “One of the best uses of agency resources is to ensure individuals are returned to their home countries once they have faced justice and served time for their crimes.”

Isaac Misati Aboki

Man Rapes Woman in Nursing Home

Burnsville, MN

Nigerian migrant Isaac Misati Aboki, 35, was arrested for allegedly raping a 70-year-old female resident at the living care facility where he worked as a personal care attendant. According to reports, an attendee tried to respond to a call light from the elderly woman’s room, but found the door blocked from the inside by a dresser.

The attendee, allegedly, was able to push the door open enough to see the victim, who is described as “a vulnerable female with severe cognitive impairment,” laying on her back with her gown pulled up to her neck and Aboki was on top of her.

When questioned, Aboki said he was only attending to her such as washing her face and change her diaper; however, a sexual assault examination provided evidence on both the victim and her attacker.

Juan Carlos Ramos

Man Hacks Roommate’s Friend with Machete

LaPlace, LA

Juan Carlos Ramos, 44, is an illegal immigrant from Honduras accused of brutally attacking a man with a machete.  According to police reports, Ramos entered the residence of a home that he sometimes shared with the female occupant and attacked her male friend before fleeing the scene. When police arrived, they found the victim, also 44 years old, bleeding from several slashes on his upper body. They were able to apply tourniquets to his upper arms before sending him to the hospital where he was listed as critical but stable.

Ramos was arrested four days later.

“It was very vicious,” St. John Parish Sheriff Mike Tregre said. “(The assailant) just completely butchered this guy. I firmly believe if it wasn’t for my officers arriving and applying a tourniquet, he probably would have died.”

Jesus Ramirez-Velasco

Man Raped 16-Year-Old Girl Repeatedly

Polk County, FL

Jesus Ramirez-Velasco, 31, was arrested for a charge of sexual battery of a 16-year-old girl, whom he admitted to having sex with more than 20 times. The illegal immigrant had been dating the mother while reportedly having sex with the teenage daughter. The victim informed her mother and explained that Ramirez-Velasco said he would harm her mother if she told anyone.

Ramirez-Velasco was previously arrested and deported to Mexico in 2008, but it is unclear when he returned to the U.S.

Remember to check back next week for the next installment of our crime watch.
