The top doc told the public there were ‘no red flags’ for pregnant women.

Dr. Anthony Fauci privately expressed concerns that the Covid vaccine could cause miscarriages while publicly encouraging pregnant women to get the jab during the pandemic, according to shocking new text messages released by Senators Rand Paul (R-KY) and Ron Johnson (R-WI). The lawmakers discovered the communications on Fauci’s government-issued phone, which was disclosed by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Fauci Behind Closed Doors

On January 25, 2021, Fauci, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky, and Dr. Vivek Murthy - who eventually served as President Joe Biden’s Surgeon General – discussed via text message the impact of the Covid vaccines on pregnant women.

During the conversation, Fauci acknowledged the vaccines could harm unborn children in the womb: "I asked around a bit more and another issue came up that you need to be aware of. Since many people have significant cytokines storm and fever after the 2nd dose, this theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the 1st trimester."

According to the Cleveland Clinic, a cytokine storm is a “severe complication” often associated with infectious diseases and autoimmune disorders that can cause “life-threatening inflammation.” The condition occurs when the immune system produces and releases too many small proteins known as cytokines.

Responding to Fauci, Walensky added, “Definitely a good point, esp [sic] after dose two.”

Then Murthy said that he had also heard “concern about the mRNA causing mutations in the developing fetus as well. That's a really good point re the cytokine storm post second dose.”

Just one week later, Fauci appeared on the podcast Conversations with Dr. Bauchner and insisted there were “no red flags” surrounding the jab for pregnant women. “Approximately 20,000 pregnant women have been vaccinated with no red flags, as we say. And this is being monitored by the CDC and the FDA,” Fauci claimed.

How many babies died in the womb because Fauci – as well as Walensky and Murthy, for that matter - chose not to publicly disclose the potential risks of the Covid vaccine for pregnant women? How many families experienced the devastation of a lost pregnancy because they trusted the nation’s top doctors to tell them the truth?

How Many Miscarriages?

The revelations sent shockwaves across social media, with users sharing heartbreaking stories about miscarriages and stillbirths they endured during the Covid era. Meghan McCain, daughter of the late Sen. John McCain, posted on X, “PUT FAUCI IN JAIL!!!! (I am a woman who was pregnant and had a miscarriage during Covid).”

In another post, the popular political commentary account Maze said his wife’s best friend, a nurse, was pressured to get the vaccine while pregnant:

“My wife's friend was just a couple months away from giving birth when she succumbed to the pressure to get vaccinated. She and her husband had already set up their daughter's room. They named her Penelope.

“She was full term when she started having stomach pains. She thought she was in labor so she went to the hospital. The doctor told her that her baby was no longer alive. They induced labor and she delivered a dead little girl. Afterwards the doctor told her that a blood clot caused the death of her baby.”

How many pregnant women in the US military, hospitals, schools, and other workplaces were effectively forced – thanks to Fauci - to choose between taking the Covid vaccine and losing their jobs? How many of those women suffered miscarriages, stillbirths, or fetal abnormalities after taking the shot?

Even if the rate is low, Fauci’s text messages raise serious questions about informed consent. A medical reference chapter on the principle, published through the National Institute of Health’s National Library of Medicine, states, “Ethical concerns arise when information is incompletely disclosed, either intentionally or unintentionally, such as downplaying certain risks or not presenting all available treatment options, including non-treatment.”

Informed consent laws vary by state, but let’s use Tennessee as an example. According to the law firm Rainey Kizer Reviere & Bell, Tennessee patients “have been able to sue medical providers who perform treatment without first obtaining adequate consent” for more than 50 years.

“In Tennessee, adequate consent is more than simply having a patient agree to a particular treatment. Informed consent is a legal concept directing that patients have the right to know the potential risks, benefits, and alternatives of proposed medical treatment before providing consent,” the firm notes.

Obviously, Fauci was not the doctor personally administering the Covid vaccines, but he was the face of the United States’ pandemic response and the government medical professional whom millions of Americans relied on for guidance about the shot’s safety and effectiveness.

Don’t forget: Fauci specifically states in the text message chain that his fellow officials “need to be aware of” his vaccine-miscarriage concerns. If government officials needed to know about the potential risk, why weren’t pregnant women given the same warning?

Fauci may have gotten a preemptive pardon from Biden, but it will only protect him at the federal level. Investigative journalist Catherine Herridge reported that Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and West Virginia “have announced or confirmed ongoing investigations” into the former top doc. Fauci’s decision to plead the Fifth 111 times during a recent congressional hearing is starting to make a lot more sense.
