Avenatti Reveals Kavanaugh Accuser: Major Questions Remain

Michael Avenatti has released the name and sworn declaration of the latest and most serious Brett Kavanaugh accuser. Julie Swetnick details how Kavanaugh and his “joined at the hip” friend Mark Judge would spike drinks at parties before engaging in gang-rape “trains.”

She has credentials including present security clearance with the Department of Treasury and previous clearance with the DOJ. In many ways, for now, she appears a compelling witness, but there are serious questions that no single major news outlet is asking.

Structured Statement

Ms. Swetnick’s statement is clear and concise with little wasted language. By saying that she personally witnessed and experienced rape in Kavanaugh’s presence, her testimony now becomes the major piece of evidence.

She states:

“I witnessed Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh drink excessively and engage in highly inappropriate conduct, including being overly aggressive with girls and not taking ‘No’ for an answer. This conduct included the fondling and grabbing of girls without their consent.”

Her declaration then goes on to say that she was herself raped at one of these parties and that Kavanaugh was present.

“I also witnessed efforts by Mark Judge, Brett Kavanaugh and others to cause girls to become inebriated and disoriented so they could then be ‘gang raped’ in a side room or bedroom by a ‘train’ of numerous boys ... These boys included Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh ... In approximately 1982, I became the victim of one of these ‘gang’ or ‘train’ rapes where Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh were present.”

Doubts?

Perhaps one of Swetnick’s statements that deserves the most scrutiny is where she explains that she was aware that Kavanaugh, Judge, and others would routinely “spike” the punch in order to make the attending girls easier to rape. She then explains how she would “make an effort to try and avoid the punch.”

Ms. Swetnick states she attended “multiple” parties with similar “gang-rape” setups – a long line of boys outside waiting their turn to then rape a woman inside.  Did she ever report any of the dozens if not hundreds of rapes she saw?  What about her own?  Why did Ms. Swetnick attend multiple rapes?  Swetnick reports these rape parties occurred in the “D.C. area.”  Maryland, where Christine Ford alleges she was assaulted, has no statute of limitations on rape.

Much like the statement given by Christine Ford, no information on where or when these acts occurred has been provided so far. Swetnick claims the rape she endured took place in “approximately 1982,”and has thus far not mentioned where any of these alleged rape parties took place.

Why would someone keep going back again and again to multiple parties where rape takes place? What must be going through the mind of a person who claims to have witnessed dozens of rapes yet not only refused to help the victims by notifying the police, but continued to drink the punch?
