Illegal Crime Report – August 23 – 30

by | Aug 30, 2018 | Columns

Illegal immigration may be a hot topic for politicians running for office, but as Americans, it should be an even greater area of concern. The left is determined to make us an open border country, allowing any and everyone in, no matter their criminal background. That’s why I feel it is important to highlight the serious crimes committed by so many illegal immigrants in this weekly report.

Week of August 23 – August 30, 2018

This is not an analysis, but rather a report of the more serious crimes committed by illegal aliens. While there may have been many more, hundreds even, arrests of illegal aliens for simple infractions, here we concentrate only on the most dangerous of offenses.

Brutal Stabbing Death of Woman

Shakopee, MN

On August 12, an illegal immigrant had an argument with his ex-girlfriend that went horribly wrong and ended with Enedelia Perez Garcia, 27, stabbed to death. Fraider Diaz-Carbajal, 35, was upset over their recent breakup, according to his roommate, who was at home during the incident. The witness said she heard Garcia yell “drop the knife,” and ran to Diaz-Carbajal’s bedroom where she saw he had Garcia pinned against the bed while repeatedly stabbing her. According to the roommate, “Diaz-Carbajal stabbed Garcia in the ‘whole body’ and then cut his own throat.”

Fraider Diaz-Carbajal

Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene while Diaz-Carbajal was taken to a local hospital where he received medical attention and was later released into custody. Diaz-Carbajal had been deported once already to Mexico in 2012, but returned to the U.S. at an unknown time, according to ICE. He now faces second-degree homicide charges.

Foreign Nationals Caught Illegally Voting in Elections

Wilmington, NC

Nineteen foreign nationals were indicted for illegally voting in the 2016 elections, and one U.S. citizen was charged for assisting and abetting an alien to falsely claim U.S. citizenship to register to vote.

Two Arrested for Distributing Child Pornography

Louisville, KY

Two men are being held under an ICE detainer after being arrested for distributing child pornography via Facebook. According to police, Sedwin Osmel-Vasquez Carrillo, 28, and Elder Rene Carrillo-Cruz, 26, were using Facebook messenger to share the files, and both men admitted to downloading and sharing of the child pornography. The men were caught during an undercover investigation by the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crimes Branch.

Bernardo Castro-Gabriel

Attempted Kidnapping

Jasper, AL

Bernardo Castro-Gabriel, 22, an illegal alien from Guatemala, was arrested after he allegedly tried to kidnap a female near a walking trail. According to the reports, Castro-Gabriel grabbed a woman by her pony tail and tried to drag her into a vehicle. The woman was able to escape by kicking and yelling for help. But this is not the only attempted kidnapping Castro-Gabriel is accused of. Police said the man had tried to lure two teens to his car as well.

Castro-Gabriel has been in the U.S. approximately five years and police said he also goes by the name of Omar Sanchez.

Adrian Jobany Garcia-Zamarron

Rape of a Minor

Macon, GA

Adrian Jobany Garcia-Zamarron, 22, was arrested for forcing sexual intercourse on a 15-year-old girl. According to reports, Garcia-Zamarron threated to kill the teenager if she did not have sex with him. Bryan Cox of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said he could not discuss the case or from where the illegal alien is from because he was not yet in ICE custody.

ICE: 160 Arrested at Job Site

Sumner, TX

On August 28, ICE and HSI arrested 160 company employees for working illegally in the U.S. at a trailer manufacturing business in north Texas.

“Businesses that knowingly hire illegal aliens create an unfair advantage over their competing businesses,” said Special Agent in Charge Katrina W. Berger, HSI Dallas. “In addition, they take jobs away from U.S. citizens and legal residents, and they create an atmosphere poised for exploiting their illegal workforce.”

In fiscal year 2017, ICE conducted 226,119 removals nationwide. 83% of individuals removed from the interior of the United States had previously been convicted of a criminal offense.

Remember to check back next week for the next installment of our crime watch.
