The Democrats’ mantra ad nauseum that there is no verifiable account of voter fraud in American elections has been refuted time and again – most recently with a new report from The Washington Times.
Obtaining voter rolls from San Francisco County, the publication stumbled across a young Russian woman, Elizaveta Shuvalova, registered to vote in the 2012 elections. But Shuvalova did not become a citizen until 2017 – and boy, oh boy, was she surprised when she was told of her status. “I’ve never registered for anything in my entire life. This is news to me.”
One Fraudulent Vote is One too Many
Credit is due to Shuvalova, who received her first ballot in 2012 as a registered Democrat, wrote ‘non-citizen’ and returned it to the elections office. She received a total of nine ballots prior to being eligible to cast a vote and tossed eight in the round file on the curb for pick-up.
Shuvalova is now a citizen and eligible to vote but is concerned that the process is fraudulent:
“It is like an identity fraud because this is not coming from my end. Like I told you, I haven’t even been a citizen during that time frame. So what can we do about it”
Well, umm, should we ask for photo identification? Seems like a good idea to about half the country – obviously excluding Democrats in California and other urban locations with massive numbers of illegal immigrants creeping about.
Was Shuvalova’s case an isolated incident, or are there more stories out there to raise the hackles of Patriots? Sadly, it seems to be the latter.
Public Interest Legal Foundation, a nonprofit law firm that advocates for election integrity, has been conducting research on election fraud since 2012, and some of their numbers will rankle even the hardcore liberals. For instance, in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania:
- 139 instances of noncitizen voter registration and eventual cancellation were disclosed by the County from 2006 to 2018.
- 27% of noncitizens cast at least one ballot prior to removal.
- Noncitizens remain registered for an average of six years before they are removed.
- 71% of noncitizens self-reported their ineligible registrations at great legal risk.
- 63% of noncitizens were registered in PennDOT transactions.
Poof! You’re a Voter
Although those numbers aren’t emblazoned across the faces of legacy media pundits, it should cause any American pause. Add in how they were registered and to what party, and it becomes clear who abuses the system the most. Out of 139 registrants, 74 were registered as Democrats and 87 were signed up through Pennsylvania’s Motor Voter program. And this is just one county out of 3,007 across the country.
Public Interest Legal Foundation’s communications and research director, Logan Churchwell, is alarmed enough to issue this statement:
“Our voter registration system masks noncitizens and allows the opportunity to vote until they decide to self-report at their own peril. All of this could have been prevented if states actually verified citizen eligibility upfront.”
But self-reporting puts illegal aliens in peril – they aren’t reliable to tattle on themselves. In Shuvalova’s circumstance, she was in the country legally, just not yet a citizen. The only fear she had was of identity fraud, knowing that someone registered her to vote without her permission.
Help get the Rabbit out of the Hat
In the United States of America, one must provide a state authorized photo identification to obtain a fishing license, liquor, over the counter sinus medications, guns, and even to adopt a pet – just a few items on an exhausting and bourgeoning list. How is it that we can possibly allow the cornerstone of the democratic process in this republic to be vulnerable to fraud? We cannot. Let’s push voter identification and stop the marauders in their tracks.
