Schumer Facing The Nightmare of Dreamers

by | Jan 28, 2018 | Immigration

Illegal immigrant activists recently rallied a crowd of “Dreamers” in the Brooklyn, New York neighborhood near Prospect Park.  Armed with attitude, hand-made signs, and an assortment of percussion instruments, dozens marched in the night to the home of Senator Chuck Schumer (NY-D), to protest his vote to end the government shutdown without protections for young immigrants.

At least 75 angry immigrants chanted “If Chuck won’t let us dream, we won’t let him sleep,” as they banged on their drums and “No! Not one more deportation,” sometimes in Spanish, which Schumer wouldn’t understand anyway.

There was neither hide nor hair of Schumer to be seen.

What Happened, Chuck?

The angry mob was focusing their spite on Schumer, who led Senate Democrats earlier in the week, to yield to the Grand Old Party’s demands of a delayed budget negotiation on Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).  Senate leadership, led by Senator Mitch McConnell, agreed to revisit DACA legislation next month.

Liberals have empowered illegals for decades, hoping to capitalize on their potential legal voting status.  The advent of sanctuary cities and state and local policies directed at assisting in harboring and protecting non-American citizens have created a fearless demographic of an undocumented, illegal, populace that is proving to be an indefatigable foe.  And an expensive positive public relations demographic to court.

Our nation spends over $135 billion on illegals for education, healthcare, and welfare programs, among other expenses, and now they demand all the rights and privileges that come with being a citizen of our country.  Because we (and by ‘we’ I mean the Democrats) have brainwashed millions of illegals into believing that laws do not matter for those who want to dream and collect all the freebies but not work towards citizenship, relegating hard working natural born and naturalized immigrant Americans to the discarded class:

“Giving amnesty to 12 to 30 million illegal aliens in the U.S. would have an immediate negative impact on America’s working and middle class, specifically black Americans and the white working class who would be in direct competition for blue-collar jobs with the largely low-skilled illegal alien population.”

But you see, the Democrats have already turned America’s blue collar and no collar workers into hostages of the Party.  They need new blood in the voting rolls, and illegals are the path to securing the additional electorate.

Facing Reality

So, what happens when you create a monster for your own selfish purposes but renege on your promise to the beast in order to keep the government running?  The monster turns on you.

Our good Senator Schumer has experienced the wrath of the privileged beast who has finally missed a meal from the buffet that is our country.  It was an ugly scene, and Chuck has probably added a few more deadbolts to the doors of his swanky Prospect Park apartment.

Perhaps we should applaud Schumer for his apparent emergence from the ether in shoving the DACA amnesty decision to the back burner and allowing the government to do Its business.  He should be warned, however, the cost of feeding the beast will continue to rise.

Aristotle opined, “Man is armed with craft and courage, which, untamed by justice, he will most wickedly pervert, and become at once the most impious and the fiercest of monsters.”  A lesson that Schumer has just witnessed first-hand.
