What Motivated the Shooting at YouTube?
When a 39-year woman went on a shooting spree in YouTube’s headquarters in San Bruno, California, the first thing many conservatives thought to themselves was: “please don’t let it be a conservative.” If she had been right wing, there would have been no end to the leftist rants about how violent and dangerous conservatives are, and it would have been exploited for all it was worth to dismantle the Second Amendment and take away the guns from honest, stable, peace-loving conservatives. Meet the Hoggs – Rights for Me, But Not for Thee!
The Marjorie Stoneman Douglass students are back at school this week, and their victimization is far from over. After a break due to the massacre, and then spring break, they have resumed classes, but of course, all is far from normal. In addition to all the media attention and celebrity, new security measures instituted at the school include the now required use of clear backpacks. Many of these students who would gladly send their fellow Americans to prison for owning an AR-15 (the most popular firearm in the country), are outraged at this imposition on their precious liberty. DNC Chokes on Politically Incorrect Slip
It has been said many times before, but it bears repeating: the best enemy is one that destroys itself. And that’s exactly what Florida Democrats have set about doing as the DNC chokes on a politically incorrect slip-up by one of their own. DNC member John Parker of Duval County allegedly said “colored people” when he meant to say “people of color” back in January. Rather than forgive what Parker calls an honest and unintentional slip, the left at large immediately jumped on the “that racist bastard” bandwagon and called for his resignation. Oh, those pesky social media platforms where absolutely any Tom, Dick or Harriet can cobble together a political meme, post said missive, and suddenly have it become the honest to God’s truth. Unless one calls home the underside of an enormous rock or so far deep in the woods and off the grid that civilization – and I use that term ever so lightly – cannot penetrate, every Twitter and Facebook connoisseur has used a meme to hammer friends with their point of view.
