Maine’s Democrat Secretary of State Shenna Bellows, late Thursday, December 28, ruled that former President Donald Trump was ineligible to appear on the Republican primary ballot. She cited Section 3 of the 14th Amendment declaring that those who engaged in “insurrection” should be disqualified from election. Her decision follows similar efforts by the Colorado Supreme Court.
