Political correctness long ago got so far out of hand in the West that we allowed entire communities of Muslim foreigners openly hostile to traditional notions of freedom to move into our homelands and live wholly apart from us, with no attempt to assimilate. Unsurprisingly, these people did not magically adopt our values as they lived separate existences cut off from the rest of their new “countrymen.”
These newly minted “citizens” are fertile recruiting ground for terrorist organizations that have sworn to destroy our nations. Now we will see if political correctness has advanced so far that we will allow those who actively joined in the fight to obliterate the Western world back into our lands to resume their isolated squatting on our sovereign soil.
Foreign Bodies
“You can buy your clothes at a Somalia mall. You can buy insurance at a Somalia insurance adjuster. You can buy real estate at a Somali real estate adjuster,” a U.S official told Fox News of the Somali Muslim population in Minnesota. “I think that is pretty unique.”
U.S. officials see this detachment as a meaningful part of the explanation why one Somali community in Minneapolis has had more men and boys joining or trying to sign up with foreign terrorist groups in the past dozen years than any other place in America. Authorities told Fox that in the case of several Somalis captured in Mexico as they attempted to head to Syria to fight with ISIS, efforts were made to convince the young men of the error of their ways. All to no avail.
“We would go out and interview people, try for an intervention, and really try to stop those people from going,” an official said. “But they were determined to go. They were committed. We tried to stop and could not. We had to prosecute to stop them from going.”
These are persons who lived in our country, attended high school and in some cases college here. And they were hellbent on waging war against American values. Thoughtless bowing to the false god of multiculturalism has given Western nations the uniquely insane status of cultivators raising and nurturing their own enemies.
Take Me Back
And now, with ISIS crumbling in Syria, some of these homegrown enemies want back in. Hoda Muthana is a Muslim woman who grew up in Alabama before leaving to become an ISIS bride. When her husband died in combat in 2015, she tweeted out bloodcurdling calls for domestic terror by Muslims in the United States, The Guardian reports:
“Americans wake up! Men and women altogether. You have much to do while you live under our greatest enemy, enough of your sleeping! Go on drivebys, and spill all of their blood, or rent a big truck and drive all over them. Veterans, Patriots, Memorial, etc day …. Kill them.”
But now Muthana, currently residing in a refugee camp in northern Syria as ISIS continues to lose ground, says it was all a “big mistake,” and she wants to come home. Well, at least she is expressing her “regrets” over her life choices. A Muslim woman raised in Britain who became an ISIS bride is asking to return to the U.K., and she won’t even say her time with the terrorist organization was a negative experience. Quite the opposite.

“I don’t regret it because it’s changed me as a person,” Shamima Begum told Sky News in an interview. “It’s made me stronger, tougher. I married my husband. I wouldn’t have found someone like him back in the U.K. I had my kids. I did have a good time there; it’s just that at the end things got harder, and I couldn’t take it anymore.”
Begum is happy that she got to meet such quality Muslim husband material in the ranks of warriors committed to overthrowing the West. How lovely. And now she feels entitled to return to the very land her dearly deceased husband died trying to annihilate.
“I think a lot of people should have, like, sympathy towards me for everything I’ve been through,” she told Sky News. When asked if she thought she could have a “good future” for herself and her son, she replied, “Yes, if the U.K. are willing to take me back and help me start a new life again.”
These are the words of someone who expects that her “home” nation will provide for her well-being regardless of her loyalties to or actions against it. She can be as inimical as she likes against Britain, yet she must be “sympathized” with. One can fully understand her position. Muslims in Britain have been bitterly hostile toward their host nation for decades, yet have always retained official government sympathy. Why should anything be different now?
President Trump has clearly articulated that the United States wants nothing to do with these homegrown enemies. He has asked that European nations take them back and make them stand trial:
The United States is asking Britain, France, Germany and other European allies to take back over 800 ISIS fighters that we captured in Syria and put them on trial. The Caliphate is ready to fall. The alternative is not a good one in that we will be forced to release them……..

A better thought would be to leave them where they are, hold military trials, and pass summary judgment. Our beloved Mideast allies must have prison space to hold them. However it needs to be worked out, we should assure that these people never again set foot on the Western soil against which they waged war.
