On Tuesday’s livestream, Jeff Charles will be discussing the decreasing support for Black Lives Matter, conservative misconceptions about offering competing ideas, and whether Democrats should be blamed for anti-Jewish hate crimes.
A New York Times report reveals that support for the global Black Lives Matter organization has plummeted after 2020 and is now at the level of support it enjoyed in 2019. The question is: Why the decrease? The answer might be deeper than we might think.
As Jeff Charles discussed previously, Republicans and conservatives must focus on offering conservative solutions to compete with the big-government socialist programs being promoted by the Democrats and the hard left. For too long, the right has cast itself as the opposition party, constantly criticizing the Democrats’ solutions without effectively selling alternative ideas that don’t involve expanding government. But some on the right seem to misunderstand what is meant by putting forth competing ideas.
Liberty Nation’s Graham Noble recently raised an excellent question: should we blame Democrats for the anti-Jewish hate crimes that are sprouting up amid renewed hostilities between Israel and Hamas? After all, so-called progressives claim that Republicans are inciting violence with their various utterances, so should this principle also be applied to those on the left?
