The Candidates' Market Report
Yet another week passes with President Trump's approval ratings holding steady, and still 1% above where President Obama was during the same point in his presidency. The interesting aspect this week is that Trump may have lost some support among Independent and Republican voters but he gained support from an unlikely demographic: black voters. Despite taking flack in the media over his comments regarding Baltimore, his support among black voters actually jumped around 6 points; what's more, it seems to be holding steady. Could this be that his recognizing that some areas of the nation are in fact rat-infested and provide poor quality of life is the first acknowledgment from a mainstream politician that something needs to be done? This Week’s Major Players

- Donald Trump - 48% ( no change )
