World Economic Forum Says You Can’t Handle the Truth

The Davos super-villains are now fighting information pollution.

Among those who cynically cackle at the thought of the world’s super-wealthy elitists gathering each year in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, for what is known as the World Economic Forum (WEF), there is a running joke: A hundred or so private jets fly in from all corners of the world to converge on this little Swiss resort so that their passengers can deliver lectures on man’s destruction of the natural environment. The irony will choke you almost as quickly as the collective carbon emissions of the people telling us they will save the planet. Like a yearly get-together for James Bond supervillains, they swept into town. Probably, each of them brought a white cat and sported an eye-patch and black gloves.

This year, however, they might be more worried about a different kind of pollution – information pollution. Yes, that is the new term for it, and several speakers have been invited to address the issue. We know they are taking the matter seriously because one of those speakers is none other than fired CNN host Brian Stelter.

The World Economic Forum website promotes the event, “The Clear and Present Danger of Disinformation,” thusly: “How can the public, regulators and social media companies better collaborate to tackle disinformation, as information pollution spreads at unprecedented speed and scale?”

BANNER NEW PARODY (450 x 200 px) (2)As Liberty Nation has pointed out in the past, the socio-political mechanism that creates a “collaboration” between government regulators and private companies is called fascism. You may have heard of it. It is a branch of the tree of socialist ideology that has been tried a couple of times in the past. It didn’t end well. Today, China and Russia both practice it and America’s Democratic Party increasingly appears to believe it’s the way to go – as do those WEF types.

The World Economic Forum and ‘Information Pollution’

Other speakers included big cheeses from the world’s left-wing media establishment and US Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA). But, seriously, Brian Stelter – the guy who hosted CNN’s hilariously titled Reliable Sources until its ratings plummeted and he was shown the door? Stelter’s most recent work of literary larceny, Hoax: Donald Trump, Fox News, and the Dangerous Distortion of Truth, was described, in a review for The New York Times, as “gratuitous gossip.” It would use up too much valuable space on the internet – space that could be better devoted to cat videos – to catalog Stelter’s long and illustrious career as a serial spreader of disinformation, but the point has been made: The World Economic Forum immediately lost whatever credibility it thought it had when it invited him to lead a panel on the subject of “information pollution.” Even just five minutes of listening to Stelter ramble on could accurately be called aural pollution.

In truth, the globalists have invented yet another imaginary existential threat they can then raise and spend billions of dollars to combat. Right-wing “extremism,” information “pollution,” and, of course, climate change, are all nothing more than very lucrative mirages; imaginary dangers the defeating of which has spawned multi-billion-dollar industries. Do a little research – if you can stomach it – on how much money is pouring into the crusades against these so-called crises. The numbers will stagger you.

Hundreds of billions of dollars are being spent to resolve the alleged problem of anthropomorphic climate change. Why would anyone in that business actually want to eliminate the issue and send that massive cash-cow to the abbatoir? No one wants to “solve” the problem – if problem it is. Here’s a prediction from Yours Truly: If, tomorrow, we all – and I mean everyone on the planet – gave up our gas-powered vehicles for EVs, and surrendered our gas stoves, it would be no more than a couple of years before the good people at WEF announced that, sadly, we were all still on the exact same path to environmental catastrophe. Even more radical and expensive changes would be called for.

They would continue to accumulate and spend (read, waste) ungodly sums of cash and they would still fly their gas-powered jets into Davos every year to devise new ways to make life a misery for the rest of us.

The battle to vanquish “information pollution” is the new money-maker. If it’s not already happening, whole new well-financed think-tanks will be created and lucrative consultancy positions will need to be filled. We should assume this is precisely why failed journalist Brian Stelter was thrilled to get his foot in the door with the World Economic Forum.
