Supreme Court Rejects Texas Challenge to Election – READ IN FULL

Texas has no standing to challenge battleground states' election practices, Supreme Court says.

On Friday, December 11, the Supreme Court of the United States rejected a legal action brought by the state of Texas against four battleground states in the matter of how elections were conducted in those states. The Court ruled that Texas did not have standing to bring the challenge.

Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito dissented from the denial to grant the case a hearing.  Both believe the Constitution compels the Supreme Court to hear disputes between states – their objections have nothing to do with the facts of the case.

Liberty Nation is covering this breaking story and will have a full legal analysis in our Daily Briefing tomorrow, Dec. 12.
