Trump is the Present America Needs

by | Dec 26, 2017 | Trump Administration

As we awake after a day of celebration to clear away the presents and prepare for another day of feasting, family and friends, it is a time to reflect on the Christmas traditions and festivities we have celebrated. And, of course, it’s a time to look at the wonderful gifts our loved ones have bestowed on us. But perhaps we should also be looking at the great gift that all of us have received this year: President Donald Trump.

Christmas gifts are often very personal things that prove true the adage that “it’s the thought that counts.” When we are presented with a gift, we appreciate the amount of thought or preparation that has gone into it and this is very true of what we, as a nation, have received.

MAGA Keeps on Giving

This year, President Trump has delivered right into the hearts of America’s towns and cities a platform that has examined what is needed, that knows how to deliver, and that lays the foundations of an even better future. I talk, of course, of the Make America Great Again platform.

Despite the negative media spin worldwide, this has been Donald Trump’s year. It is best exemplified by two sets of numbers: the first being his approval ratings and the second being the cold hard data of the direction America is heading. When we compare the balance, one set of numbers is clearly wrong.

Unwanted Donald?

Hardly a week goes by when we don’t hear either how bad The Donald’s personal approval ratings are, either stand-alone or when compared to Barack Obama at the same time in his presidency. These figures are pushed and pushed by a complicit media that wants to be back in the cozy confines of a friendly White House.

But what is left out, is that President Trump is far outperforming both Houses in his popularity. Why is this? Could it be that the achievements of the president are viewed as his achievement alone? And is it possible that the public is waking up to the fact that many politicians are more interested in the status quo than getting a better deal for America?

The Numbers!

Here are a few numbers we can balance against the president’s admittedly poor approval ratings:

  • Illegal immigration has hit a 17 year low
  • Wages have risen by more than 5% over the last year.
  • The basic unemployment rate has fallen from 4.8% to 4.1%.
  • The non-active/non-seeking unemployment rate has fallen from 9.4% to 8%.
  • He has forced through the biggest tax reform of the last 30 years.
  • Major companies (like Wells Fargo) have already announced that because of the tax reform, they will begin paying a $15 minimum wage.
  • Huge cuts in the Corporate Tax Rate will see more companies coming back to America.
  • The Dow has hit over 24,000!
  • The U.S. economy has grown by more than 3% over the last two quarters.

The Numbers are In

These figures show what is really happening for Americans this year, and signify the real changes in life chances that are going to kick in throughout 2018.

We can look at approval ratings, or we can look at the very real benefits to hundreds of millions of Americans whose lives are better now that we have a proper leader in the White House. The left’s largest fear is that more Americans will realize that they have been given a great gift that will just keep on giving.

So spare a thought for President Trump today. Raise a glass or give a prayer to the man who has taken on everyone to Make America Great Again for all of us.
