Every single week there are changes in how the American people see their political system. Whether President Trump’s approval ratings are going up or down, if House Democrats are more or less unpopular than Republicans, these views are flighty, oft-changing, and on occasion, difficult to believe.
Liberty Nation presents our round-up of all the key numbers that you, as the informed political news hound, need to know. The figures are taken from a variety of sources to provide the most up-to-date information.
The Candidates’ Market Report
With the news that the Mueller report clears President Trump of collusion and conspiracy, he finally broke the 50% approval barrier and is sitting comfortably on 51%; a high not seen since the beginning of February.
The real movement this week is in the Democrat field of players. Joe Biden appears to have finally succumbed to the “hands-on” approach he is notorious for as he slips to fourth place in the nominee odds. With Creepy Uncle Joe out of the running (for now), it is surprisingly not Kamala Harris who is the main beneficiary, but rather Bernie Sanders! It seems Democrats just can’t get enough of old white dudes.
Yang, Warren, Booker, Klobuchar, and Hickenlooper (who???), have all fallen by the wayside and stand little chance of making it the nomination as they all face a 20 to 1 struggle.
Yet even as Sanders, Harris, and O’Rourke pull into the lead positions, the closing field causes the Democrats some MAJOR issues. According to most major polling, the only candidate with a chance of beating Trump is Joe Biden … the man who is dropping faster than a lead weight.
The Nevada Democratic Presidential Caucus, has Biden beating Trump by 4 points … and every other Dem candidate losing.
