Pfizer Bails Out Joe Biden with Coronavirus Vaccine

Everything you wanted to know about Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine.

In the future, Generation Quarantine will learn that the coronavirus pandemic was one of the biggest frauds perpetrated on the American public, exploited by big government acolytes thirsty to erode liberty and by the mainstream media desperate to oust a president they loathe. Within a couple of years, when our little gray cells normalize and all the microbes are eviscerated from the planet, we will come to our senses and realize that politicians overreacted, and the public was duped again. But the population will only ostensibly become enlightened to this fact when Pfizer distributes the two-dose COVID-19 vaccine for a respiratory illness that possesses a survival rate of 99.97% for people under 60.

Pfizer Announces Coronavirus Vaccine

Pfizer and BioNTech announced on November 9 that they have developed a coronavirus vaccine that is 90% effective, beating the 75% efficacy goal from the patron saint of superfluous lockdowns, Dr. Anthony Fauci. The companies called it a “great day for science and humanity.”

So, what now? Pfizer and BioNTech plan to produce up to 50 million vaccine doses this year and another 1.3 billion in 2021. The vaccine will require two doses per patient. They will also submit an application for emergency use authorization to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) after compiling two months of data. So far, there are zero safety concerns.

The next step is to begin the logistics and distribution process. It has been reported that Pfizer will load suitcase-sized boxes from distribution sites in Michigan and Belgium in two-dozen trucks each day, allowing for the transport of about 7.6 million doses per day to nearby airports.

“I think we can see light at the end of the tunnel,” Pfizer Chairman and CEO Dr. Albert Bourla told CNBC. “I believe this is likely the most significant medical advance in the last 100 years if you count the impact this will have in public health, global economy.”

To date, the world has reported more than 50 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, with a death toll of 1.26 million. The U.S. has led the world in infections: 10.2 million total cases and 240,000 deaths.

Stock Markets Stage Rally

If you woke up on November 9 and looked at the CNBC benchmark indicators, you may have been confused and thought you were living in a different reality. Oh, a COVID-19 vaccine? As Liberty Nation‘s Washington Political Columnist Tim Donner would utter in his weekly column: Say what?

The U.S. financial markets popped on the news. The Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced as much as 1,700 points, the S&P 500 topped 3,600 points in intraday trading, and the Nasdaq Composite Index rose more than 1% before finishing the session in the red. Pfizer shares settled the day up 7.7% to $39.20, while BioNTech shares ballooned 14% to $104.80.

The U.S. Dollar Index, which gauges the greenback against a basket of currencies, jumped 0.59%. Gold and silver prices cratered, U.S. crude oil climbed above $40 per barrel, and Treasury yields increased.

Operation Warp Speed

This past summer, President Donald Trump initiated Operation Warp Speed, the federal government’s initiative to produce and deliver approximately 300 million doses of coronavirus vaccines. Many companies signed up to be a part of the efforts, including Regeneron, Novavax, Sanofi, GlaxoSmithKline, and Johnson & Johnson. What about Pfizer?

Speaking in an interview with The New York Times, Dr. Kathrin Jansen, head of Pfizer’s vaccine development, claimed that the pharmaceutical giant was “never part of the Warp Speed [program] … We have never taken any money from the U.S. government, or from anyone.” She added: “We have always said that science is driving how we conduct ourselves—not politics.”

But on July 22, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced that Pfizer would receive up to $1.95 billion in funds “for the large-scale manufacturing and nationwide distribution of 100 million doses of their vaccine candidate.” Pfizer also issued a press release, announcing “the execution of an agreement with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Defense to meet the U.S. government’s Operation Warp Speed program goal.” Plus, the Pfizer CEO noted in the same news release that the drug manufacturer was “honored to be a part of this effort to provide Americans access to protection from this deadly virus.”

While the timing of the announcement might be considered suspicious, Pfizer denying playing a role in Operation Warp Speed is just as eyebrow-raising. President Donald Trump has also speculated on both subjects, tweeting:

“As I have long said, @Pfizer and the others would only announce a Vaccine after the Election, because they didn’t have the courage to do it before. Likewise, the @US_FDA should have announced it earlier, not for political purposes, but for saving lives!

If Joe Biden were President, you wouldn’t have the Vaccine for another four years, nor would the @US_FDA have ever approved it so quickly. The bureaucracy would have destroyed millions of lives!

The @US_FDA and the Democrats didn’t want to have me get a Vaccine WIN, prior to the election, so instead it came out five days later – As I’ve said all along!”

Andrew Bates, Joe Biden’s spokesperson, revealed to Reuters that the former vice president held talks before the 2020 election with Big Pharma executives regarding the U.S. government’s Operation Warp Speed program. While Biden has insisted that he will not alter Warp Speed because he wants to “listen to the science,” were there some backroom shenanigans with Pfizer and its announcement of a vaccine? We will let the more conspiracy-minded decide.

Does Pfizer Hold a Grudge?

This past summer, President Trump signed four executive orders designed to reduce U.S. prescription drug costs and bring them in line with foreign counterparts. Since the 2016 election, Trump has made lowering drug costs a critical component of his health care reform efforts.

At the time, Pfizer complained about the decision. Bourla told investors in a conference call discussing the firm’s second-quarter earnings report that the EOs would trigger “enormous destruction.” Pfizer clarified that Bourla stated “enormous distraction,” but the business news network stood by its original transcription in July.

Whatever the case, Bourla was not pleased by the measure, threatening to cut jobs in response to Trump’s executive action:

“We have plans to invest in both R&D and manufacturing in the United States. If finalized, these new executive orders could force us to rethink those plans, consider job reductions and add to the economic and health anxiety already widely felt in our country.

(Our workers) should worry only about how to defeat this virus and how to maintain the supply and should not start worrying about their jobs. I think the timing was wrong.”

The Joe Luck Club

Joe Biden

If Biden returns to the White House, most of the groundwork in the fight against the pandemic will already be laid out. Contrary to what the mainstream media would report, the Trump administration has acted since the outbreak started. Expanding coronavirus testing, tapping the Defense Production Act (DPA), and covering medical care costs related to the respiratory illness – the president has presented these policy maneuvers over the last nine months.

Biden recently unveiled his framework to tackle the pandemic. His proposal involves pushing a federal mask mandate, restoring the Affordable Care Act (ACA), providing free COVID-19 tests, offering paid sick and caregiving leave, and investing in CDC tracking. Aside from a national mask mandate and protecting Obamacare, the solutions presented by Biden are being done. In April, for example, Trump signed coronavirus legislation that ordered free testing, as well as aid for workers.

Still, because the Biden transition team will “elevate the voices of scientists and public health experts,” the Fourth Estate will portray the former vice president as someone who is doing something.

Is the Pandemic Over?

Judging by the tens of thousands of people who took to the streets nationwide to celebrate the media’s announcement of Biden’s victory and President Trump’s apparent defeat, you would think that Joe had already cured COVID-19. Social distancing practices were abandoned, while many did not wear a mask or wore one incorrectly. The coronavirus served as an excellent mechanism to take down the incumbent. Despite the Democrats’ inept messaging and management of the highly infectious respiratory illness at the state level, they hammered home the idea that Trump failed the nation over the virus, which will be the same campaign strategy for other opposition parties in elections around the world.

Now that a vaccine has been developed, something that Trump promised at the second and final presidential debate, is the pandemic over? It might have been finished once the media declared Biden the winner. It is almost guaranteed that Biden will receive 100% credit should the public health crisis subside during his term. Come Inauguration Day 2021, CNN might have this chyron headline: “God Emperor of the United States Joe Biden Cures COVID-19 – Trump is Hitler.”
