“Non-Partisan” Women’s Conference Hits All the Leftist High Notes

Oh, the places you liberal gals will go.

The City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, played host to the 15th annual Pennsylvania Women’s Conference this October. Thousands spent $185 a piece to soak up wisdom from women athletes, academics, media executives, actresses, comedians, and even a few token males, on how to get their girl power on.

The event held at the Pennsylvania Conference Center was sold out and featured break-out sessions that covered topics near and dear to every woman’s heart: Break the Cycle: Embrace Your Hormones; Myth of the Nice Girl: Leading with Strength and Kindness; and In the Wake of #MeToo: What Does the Workplace Look Like Now?

Bleak, people, it looks bleak. But I digress – these conference goers probably need a boost after the traumatic two years since Trump rained on their presidential parade.

The Event

The event is billed as a big tent experience for all women:

“The Pennsylvania Conference for Women is a non-profit, non-partisan, one-day professional and personal development event for women that features more than 100 renowned speakers sharing inspirational stories and leading seminars on the issues that matter most to women …”

But the line-up belies the description. What the headliners have in common is a hatred for conservatives and America’s president, Donald Trump. Tennis star Serena Williams, attorney Amal Clooney, and comedienne Maysoon Zayid (who is notable for being both Muslim and disabled) topped the featured speaker’s list. And of course, the non-partisan event went, well, partisan.

Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney, a lawyer and human rights activist, gained an almost unlimited international stage when she married Hollywood hunk George Clooney and has intelligently used that borrowed power to move her agenda forward. In front of 10,000 attendees, in an estrogen-infused dining room, she intimated that her work bringing war criminals to trial is shifting to the battle against Islamic militant group ISIS and those corporations that fuel their terrorist machine: namely, the oil industry.

Clooney’s remarks – and she is an eloquent speaker – were welcomed and applauded as she hammered the atrocities for which ISIS is responsible, and in world leader speak, warned that “We are also looking at going after companies that supported ISIS.”

She did sort of sound like Trump. Just an observation. But she soon returned to the narrative all leftists have been brainwashed to regurgitate:

“Survivors in any country deserve the chance to look their abusers in the eye and for history to record what has happened to them. That means the president of a country should not publicly ridicule a woman who courageously comes forward to allege abuse. And it means the leader of the Senate should not assure constituents that he would ‘plow right through’ her testimony.”

And still the sting of uncorroborated testimony, delivered at the 11th hour, with an intent to defame a good man in Brett Kavanaugh (while destroying their own pawn in Christine Blasey Ford), the Democrats commit the same insidious offences again and again.

Williams and Zayid

Tennis star Serena Williams’ keynote speech focused on equality in the workplace and the campaign #BeSeenBeHeard, which ties into her clothing line. Let’s face it, these gals at the top of the heap don’t give it away for free.

Considering herself a good friend of Mrs. Obama, the political Williams is also an avid supporter of her fellow Nike poster child and part-time activist, Colin Kaepernick. But after her surprising U.S. Open defeat on the heels of her controversial catsuit outfit premiere at the stuffy French Open, Nike stock has fallen by 6.8% – but perhaps it would be too harsh to attribute the sports apparel giant’s tumble to Williams’ folly alone.

Banging the drum in the comedy world was another “non-partisan” headliner, Maysoon Zayid, who blames Trump for everything horrible in the world today except her cerebral palsy. She boasted to Glamour weeks ago about facing death threats and violence:

“Hate, supremacy are mainstream and, as I mentioned on stage, when Donald Trump posts fake videos about Muslims on his Twitter, that backlash comes at someone like me because I’m public about being Muslim, I’m proud of being Muslim.”

At the End of the Day

It’s a good bet that when a group of left-leaning feminists gathers together in a synchronized effort, the event will trash President Trump and conservatives. There is no “non-partisan” intent in their ongoing determination to turn this country into a socialist dump. Yet the conservative base continues to grow.

As for girl power, I’m all for it. But apparently, only leftists and feminists need a sponsored event to get their giddy-up going and strive to be equal to men, owning their truth and all that Oprah stuff.  Conservative chicks have concealed carry – they keep their truth in their purse and already know they are badass.
