News Blackout on Geller Verdict Reprehensible

by | Oct 20, 2017 | Ignored by MSM

Perhaps there is no one in America today who has fought harder and longer against the creeping Sharia law movement in this country than Pamela Geller. For her heroism, Geller has been labeled as Islamophobic and called just about every name in the extreme leftist handbook. But mere name-calling was not enough punishment for Ms. Geller. Thus, a plot was hatched to behead her.

Radical Islamists are such nice people.

In a story you are not likely to read much about in the elite establishment media, a 28-year-old man from Everett, Massachusetts was convicted this week of planning to decapitate Geller for speaking out against political and radical Islam. This is not only a victory for Geller but for the First Amendment which has been increasingly under attack in this country.

This jury found 28-year-old David Wright guilty of:

  • Conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization
  • Conspiracy to commit acts of terrorism transcending national boundaries
  • Conspiracy to obstruct justice
  • Two counts of obstruction of justice

Muhammad Cartoon Contest Incited Radicals

Prosecutors proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Wright and two other men came up with the plan to kill Geller following a Prophet Muhammad cartoon contest in 2015. During the Texas contest, two men with guns ablaze opened fire and wounded a security guard before being taken down by police. This appeared to be when the scheme to murder Geller was first hatched:

“Wright’s uncle, Ussamah Rahim, told Wright on a recorded phone call later that month that he couldn’t wait to attack Geller and decided instead to go after “those boys in blue,” referring to police. Wright told his uncle that was “beautiful” and encouraged him to delete all the data from his computer before carrying out his attack. Hours later, Rahim was shot and killed by authorities after he lunged at them with a knife when they approached him in Boston.”

Without a doubt, these guys were as serious as a heart attack, proving that Geller’s life was in grave danger. Following the verdict Geller wrote the following in response:

“I am deeply grateful to all the jurors who were courageous enough to find the jihadi who plotted to behead me guilty on all counts. It would seem clear and elemental that they would, would it not? But we do not live in a rational world. The media and cultural elites blamed me for the plots to kill me  – attacked me for not subjugating myself to the sharia. The jury saw past all that and found for freedom and individual liberty; they understood clearly what was at stake: our very way of life.”

Indeed, Ms. Geller’s political activism against the ever-expanding Sharia law movement in America not only made her public enemy number one with the Radical Islamists but with the political left as well. Her life has not only been threatened; she’s been persecuted for speaking out against the expanding jihad movement within the United States.

The unfortunate part of this whole story is that one has to dig deep to find so much as a mention of it in the mainstream American news media. This type of silent collusion belies the moral bankruptcy of the Fourth Estate. Without a doubt, Geller is a woman of conviction and courage. And it is a truly wretched state of affairs when an American has to live in fear of being beheaded because of what she says and believes.

In December, Wright will be sentenced and could face up to life in prison; and as Islamists are wont to say, “Thanks be to Allah” for that.
