A Look Back On James Comey’s FBI

by | May 22, 2017 | Deep State

Dear Democrats: what on God’s green earth will bring cheer into your lives in these darkened days of Trump?  Absolutely nothing this administration does seems to sooth the soul-sucking loss you have survived. In fact, all attempts at an American détente appear to do the precise opposite, bringing violence and chaos to our streets, with protesters setting fires and sporting unfashionable pink hats.

Case in point: the president recently terminated James B. Comey, the g-man you hold responsible for Hillary’s failure to launch through the glass ceiling last November.  His firing should have elated the liberal masses, as chants demanding Comey’s public hanging were downright deafening—until now.  Instead, cries of outrage have erupted from the leftist media and Democratic Party leader. Naturally there was protesting in front of the White House, demanding an inquiry into the reasons behind this unjust removal of such a loyal FBI guy.  His name may have been suggested to the Pope (he’s all about building bridges and not walls, you know) for sainthood.

Before you start to squawk, spit, and hiss about how Trump has treated Mr. Comey, stuff the earbuds in, dial up the music app, and search for AC/DC’s anthem, “Dirty Deeds, Done Dirt Cheap.”   This story needs background music.

As Comey rose in the ranks of the FBI to Director, he learned a few things from his predecessor, Robert Mueller.  Comey took a page from Mueller’s playbook, and focused on terrorism intel gathering.  Mueller was the kind of big cheese that wanted to squash attacks on American soil before they were allowed to happen—great idea, but legally, ethically and morally it was tough to pull off without nefarious tactics or un-American activities.  Comey was adamant in continuing the legacy, as long as the gray area between right and wrong was widened a good bit:

Comey’s FBI agents aided in the prosecution of Sami Osmakac, a Florida man caught in a sting operation, despite having called him in private conversations a “retarded fool.” They also busted penniless, mentally ill homeless men who claimed to be associating with ISIS. In one of those cases, an informant even gave a homeless man $40 so he could purchase the machete and knives he needed for his supposed plot. To catch a lonely Michigan man, the FBI used two female informants to set up a honeypot, in which the FBI informants claimed to be in love with the target so as to manipulate him. The target, in turn, claimed to have an AK-47 and to have attempted to travel to Syria. But it turned out he was just saying all that to impress the ladies.

Can you guess who slipped through the cracks during this nonsense?  Omar Mateen, the mass murderer who, claiming allegiance to ISIS, mowed down over one hundred people in an Orlando nightclub, leaving forty-nine dead.  That Omar Mateen, whom the FBI investigated and deemed “not a threat.”

Comey’s FBI is not the glorified law enforcement agency we want to believe in and of which we are gushingly proud:

Despite being portrayed as flawless by movies and television shows, the FBI Laboratory turned out to be a vehicle for bad science and injustice. In 2015, the FBI acknowledged that examiners in its microscopic hair comparison unit had given flawed testimony, including in 32 cases in which defendants were sentenced to death.

Hello, Liberals, are you paying attention?  One would think the slurs and tainted evidence resulting in death row cases would have you wringing your hands and clutching the faux pearls around your lovely neck by now.  Any outrage at all?

Here’s another example:

More than a year after two men attacked a convention center near Dallas where Pamela Geller had organized the “First Annual Muhammad Art Exhibit and Contest,” the FBI admitted in a court filing that it had an undercover agent embedded close to the two attackers, Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi. After one of the attackers posted a link to the “Draw Muhammad” event, the undercover agent wrote: “Tear Up Texas.” The undercover agent was on site during the attack but fled when the shooting started.

Quite the stellar moment for our beloved FBI.

James Comey’s FBI was one of ineptitude regarding terrorist activities, poor judgment on involving citizens as confidential informants, and downright thuggery in the treatment of all people (especially undocumented aliens), including his peers, superiors, and elected officials.  America’s top cop left a lot to be desired.  Will he be remembered as the man who destroyed Hillary’s shot at the presidency (as Liberals bemoaned until his firing)? Will his legacy be the man who brought down Trump, or that of a small cog in the colossal wheel of American justice, who performed his dirty deeds on the government payroll?
