Regarding The Coming Hunter Biden Investigation Has Democrats Ready for War, – Neil Ruggles of Hallandale Beach, FL, writes:

While interesting, the article does not address the elephant in the room. As long as he is President, Joe Biden can pardon his entire family for any Federal crimes they may or may not have committed, even before such crimes get charged, just as Gerald Ford pardoned Richard Nixon. Such action might lead to impeachment, but with the Senate now controlled by Democrats, it seems unlikely that even such egregious self-dealing would lead to a conviction and removal from office. Even if it did, the pardons would remain, and all criminal investigation into the family’s affairs would be over since there would be no basis for charges.

Even Joe Biden could escape any criminal charges by resigning before impeachment if Kamala Harris could be persuaded to pardon him like Gerald Ford did Nixon.

Such behaviors might outrage even some Biden supporters. Hence it seems logical to try to demonize anyone alleging a Biden family crime syndicate and calling for criminal investigation. If such claims can be successfully portrayed as a political witch-hunt, many Democrats at least will surely accept pardons as the only “reasonable” way to deal with the nasty Republican Inquisition.

It seems the framers of our Constitution never imagined that a President might pardon family members in order to prevent a criminal investigation into corruption, foreign dealings, and perhaps treason, in which the President himself might be involved. The only Constitutional remedy seems to be impeachment, but this would occur too late after pardons had already been granted.

Our country is already facing one Constitutional crisis. The man labeled “President” seems to be suffering from mental deterioration – perhaps dementia – that is clearly getting worse. It now seems so advanced that it is hard to imagine how he could actually be making any decisions himself. Unidentified parties must be making such decisions. Yet neither the Cabinet nor the Senate seems likely to approve a 25th Amendment transfer of power, no matter how obvious, nor how severe the deterioration.

If Biden family pardons occur, they will surely signal the end of our Constitutional Republic.

You’re question, “Will Republicans Finally Embrace Main-In Voting?, could also have been, “Will Republicans Finally Embrace Murdering Viable Fetuses?”

To suggest Republicans, who are mostly conservative by nature, should accept ideas and/or concepts that are wrong rather than provide a clear reason why they are not good for America is, to my way of thinking, wrongheaded and as close to a surrender as one could get.

To suggest early mail-in voting was the sole reason why we performed so poorly in the 2022 mid-terms is somewhat dismissive of the series of events that were significant factors that shaped the outcome. Yes, early mail-in voting played a role in it; however, so did the SCOTUS decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, so did the lack of clear messaging by Republicans, so did the MSM as they continue to beat the drum for the left and Democrats in general. Republicans are not going to change the mind of single-issue voters, or women who are under the false impression that they have the Constitutional right to end life at will. Nor are Republican’s going to change the mind of the “woke” or college students and, for that matter, most college graduates of the past 20+ years.

Add to these built-in disadvantages the Trump effect, which is becoming like soap opera than a fair political fight. He disrupted their silent control over the “American way of life,” and they did not like it. When one considers the stakes, defeating the deep state will take much more than ANY single candidate can offer or promise because it is the bureaucrats that control American policy and its implementation. Trump’s naive approach to Washington versus his more customary role as people doing what he said or else will never work in Washington, D.C., or most State governments. Why? Number one, the protection of labor unions, which should have NEVER been allowed in the civil service arena. Deadbeats are deadbeats. When labor unions dictate terms of employment, the level of productivity is diminished wherever they are, and the work product matters little. Our government, at every level, has been – and is – broken because of it. We now see the effect the labor unions have had on the teaching profession in the public sector, as that has also pretty much been destroyed by the same devil.

Early mail-in voting is a third-world tactic that has been illegally put on the American people, and we allowed it without a whimper. I can find nothing in our Constitution that grants States the option of modifying their State Constitution at the whim of the Governor, yet several States did it without a single court stopping them…

New Banner Political Power PlaysThe point I am trying to make is Republicans fared poorly for several reasons, and those that voted Republican found a way to do it. For the most part, those that voted early are “willfully ignorant” and voted Democrat because their media of choice convinced them to do so. The only way to stop the nonsense is to behave like a rational and civilized society. Being “woke” will not provide that.

Republicans must learn to fight dirty and present a clear message that they will follow the law and protect the American way of life. We are unique because we represent a stew of the world where hundreds of cultures, languages, and life experiences that have resulted in the greatest country in the history of the world. Democrats and the left are wrong, and we MUST deliver that message clearly, accurately, and concisely. And do it repeatedly until it sinks in. A good place to start would be to publicly expose the real reason for the 87,000 new IRS employees hiring.

Even though I supported Trump, I do not believe he is the answer. He doesn’t have the army of loyalists that it will take to properly staff the White House, and history showed us how often he was betrayed. I supported “most” of his policies. However, I found many to be knee-jerk reactions, which is never a good thing. Plus, like it or not, he is too abrasive for too many voters who prefer “feeling good” more than results.
