Many on the right have excoriated failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton for refusing to leave the political stage. They believe that after her humiliating loss to President Donald Trump, she should have retreated into obscurity. If many conservatives had their way, we would never hear from Clinton again.
They are wrong.
Believe me; we need Hillary Clinton on the public stage as much as possible. Her post-election antics have caused enough harm to the left that even Democrats wish she would just go away. She has — in essence — become one of the conservative movement’s greatest allies, and we must appreciate her contributions to our cause.
Clinton Competes with DNC Event
Recently, PageSix reported that Clinton scheduled an event for her “Onward Together Leadership Council” on April 30 in New York City. The event will raise funds for her new non-profit which will support political activism.
So what’s the problem?
Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Tom Perez is holding an event in the same city, on the same day. The DNC’s event — which will be held at Manhattan law firm Kramer Levin — will be a venue in which Democrats will hash out a congressional midterm election strategy. An insider told PageSix: “It will be interesting to see who goes to Hillary and who goes to Tom.”
While Perez’s event is not an official fundraiser, it is likely that they will ask for donations after the event. This makes sense because the DNC is $6 million in debt. It looks like Clinton could be taking potential donors away from the Democrats. Thanks, Hillary! But that’s not the only way Clinton has been helpful to conservatives so far.
Clinton Exposes Leftist Attitudes In India
I’m sure you remember Clinton’s trip to India earlier this month, right? When she was interviewed, she made some embarrassing remarks that revealed how many on the left view people on the right. She stated that Trump supporters “didn’t like black people getting rights,” and that they didn’t want “to see that Indian American succeeding more than you are.” These statements were almost as helpful to the conservative movement as her statement that half of Trump’s supporters belong in “the basket of deplorables.”
See, you might think these statements are meant to insult us. But in reality, they show the American public that the far-left disdains half of the U.S. population. Clinton is tearing the veil off of the Democrats and allowing us to see the contempt they have for us. We shouldn’t be angry; we should be grateful. After all, don’t Americans deserve to know how the left views those with whom they disagree? But our dear Hillary Clinton didn’t stop there. She also slammed women.
When discussing the reasons white women voted for Trump, Clinton was in rare form. She stated that these poor, ignorant females didn’t vote for her because of “ongoing pressure to vote the way that your husband, your boss, your son — whoever — believes you should.” Clinton deftly exposed the hypocrisy of the Democrats — who are supposed to be the champions of women’s rights. Yes, many on the left think that anyone who doesn’t vote for Democrats are incapable of making up their own minds, and Clinton — in an act of immense generosity, allowed us to see this. Go, Hillary!
Hillary Clinton’s Continued Promotion Of Her Pro-Conservative Book
Of course, one of the most significant contributions Clinton made to the conservative cause was the book she released earlier this year. The book, titled “What Happened” blames Clinton’s loss to Donald Trump on Russia, WikiLeaks, Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, Barack Obama, the DNC, sexism, misogyny, and that guy who runs the deli down the street.
It was a brilliant move. Not because it convinced anyone that her loss wasn’t her fault, but because it showed us that she would not take responsibility for her actions. It also showcased the left’s penchant for race-baiting and false accusations of bigotry.
Needless to say, the left’s constant cries of bigotry are one of the main reasons they lost in 2016. People became fed up with people on the extreme left continually calling their political opponents bigots because of their disagreements. Apparently, this approach only serves to alienate people who might otherwise be open to the left’s ideas. Clinton’s book was a doubling down on this absurd approach to political debate, and it reminded the American public of why they refused to vote for her party.
Conservatives Owe Clinton A Debt Of Gratitude
Conservatives, let’s stop telling Hillary Clinton to go away. She’s not hurting anyone — except her own party, and we should be thrilled. The more she makes public appearances where she criticizes conservatives, the better off we are.
Let’s hope that she makes more comments like the ones in India. Let’s pray that she continues to cannibalize the Democratic party. Let’s encourage her to write more books that reveal the character of the far left. It will only benefit our cause.
