There was a time when the news media reported the news of the day. At LibertyNation.com our calling card is “Truth is Making a Comeback.” As such, we endeavor to cover the stories that the media omits and no longer find newsworthy. But we believe the America public has a right and we have a responsibility to report these stories. Today we begin our series called “Heroes on Patrol.”

LAREDO, Texas — U.S. Customs and Border control agents sensed something wasn’t quite right when a semi-tractor trailer pulled into a checkpoint on Interstate Highway 35 just north of Laredo, Texas. The agent assigned to the Laredo North Station searched the interior of a 2012 black Volvo tractor truck, and when he pulled the curtain aside in the sleeper compartment, he found 20 illegal aliens inside.

The driver was a U.S. citizen, but his cargo included people from Mexico, Brazil, and Ecuador. All were placed under arrest.

AGUADILLA, Puerto Rico — Agents in the Air and Marine Operations division intercepted a vessel near Mona Island carrying over 70 pounds of cocaine with an estimated street value just under $1M. Arrested were three aliens – one from Columbia and two from the Dominican Republic. The 28 bricks of coke were found hidden inside a gas container.

YUMA, Arizona – Canines spotted a 2002 Mercury Milan at the Border in Yuma, Arizona. Upon further inspection, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents uncovered 96 packages of methamphetamine and heroin hidden in various parts of the vehicle. A 38-year-old Mexican national with legal permanent residence in the U.S. was arrested.

That same evening, Wellton Station agents stopped the driver of a 2016 Honda Accord. They found the three rear-seat passengers were illegally trying to enter the country. All of those in the vehicle are being processed for immigration violations.

PHARR, Texas – Officers on duty at the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge pulled over a 2015 silver Toyota Corolla driven by a 38-year-old Mexican national.  More than $1M of heroin was found in his vehicle and seized by Border Patrol.  The driver, from Nuevo Leon, Monterrey, Mexico, was arrested and charged with trying to smuggle the drugs into the U.S. The man was turned over to the Department of Homeland Security for further investigation.

Join us next week as we once again do what the leftists of the establishment media won’t and give these heroes on patrol the credit they deserve.
