Gunslingers for Liberty: The Left Is as Full of It as Ever – 7.12.20

Black Lives Matter activists sure act as if black lives don’t matter.

Grassroots or Astroturf?

Black Lives Matter sprang up out of nowhere as a quintessential grassroots movement against racial inequality. Or did it?

As Liberty Nation’s Joe Schaeffer wrote:

“The more the public learns about the Black Lives Matter movement, the more it realizes just how organized and orchestrated the supposedly “spontaneous” demonstrations of social unrest across America these past few weeks have been. The latest disturbing fact garnering attention reveals that a convicted terrorist who was involved in an armored car heist in which a guard and two police officers were killed sits on the Board of Directors for the official “fiscal sponsorship” group behind the revolutionary faction.”

Mr. Schaeffer is talking, of course, about Susan Rosenberg, but as he also explains, she isn’t the only one behind the curtain. She’s joined by the likes of fellow revolutionaries Bernadine Dohrn and Bill Ayers – not to mention George Soros, who funds both Rosenberg’s group and Black Lives Matter. It seems the more we peel back the grass, the more we find that it was manufactured Astroturf all along.

What to Watch For

All the bigwigs of Black Lives Matter are turning out to be anti-American revolutionaries. Since it has nothing to do with black lives and everything to do with overthrowing the American way of life, look for more political strife from this so-called movement of the people.

Do Black Lives Matter?

All this political hogwash is enough to make you ask: “Do black lives really matter to Black Lives Matter?” Well, not in New York, they don’t. COVID-19 is a racist killer. Anyone can die, but black people are apparently far more likely to, according to some experts. Yet New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio acts as if BLM members are immune. He has called a halt on any public events except BLM protests.

Liberty Nation’s Sarah Cowgill pointed out the problem:

“Just a few weeks prior, de Blasio’s department of health was alarming the good citizens of the Big Apple, stating that blacks are twice as likely to die from COVID-19 as white citizens. At the time in the five boroughs, 1,999 black (or African) Americans had perished. Mr. de Blasio told The New York Times in April: ‘There are clear inequalities, clear disparities in how this disease is affecting the people of our city.’

So sure, let’s encourage our black protesters to gather by the thousands and risk spreading the damn virus to more black people.

What to Watch For

Sarah says it best: “He should not then be surprised when the numbers spike again in the coming months.”

Washington Whispers & Other Juicy Tidbits

Be on the lookout for:

  • New York City has put all summer parades and street fairs on hold until at least September 30. “No, we don’t need big events anytime soon,” Mayor Bill de Blasio said on CNN. “We’ve had a lot of success making New York City healthier and we’ve got to stick to that plan.” But is it really safer?
