Kamala Harris was a conversation starter this week as Heartlanders wondered what the heck was up with their newly installed and rarely seen vice president. Under fire for exhibiting serious mean-girl attributes with the press, caving to pressure to fly near the U.S.-Mexico border, and the super-duper anticipated announcement of her preferred pronouns caused quite a stir. Press notices flew in all directions as news outlets applauded the brilliance and humanity of this earth-shattering Harris news.

But that wide swath of rural America nearly matched the vice president’s nasty side – at least on social media platforms.Living Rent Free

Texas Governor Greg Abbott invited President Donald Trump to visit the border and see how messed up circumstances have become for residents. Specifically, the border town of Del Rio has seen an untenable uptick in illegal crossings, crime, and violence against landowners. Much noise was generated about how the 92-day border czar finally felt threatened enough by Trump to schedule a trip: Not to Europe – another place she hasn’t been – but to El Paso. Harris’ husband ensures the good citizens of this nation that she isn’t going because Trump made her do it. The VP “isn’t driven by any political issues or political pressure.” Folks cackled like Kamala over that inane statement.

Abbott addressed the press, saying that Harris had better consider visiting “residents of the Del Rio sector whose homes and gangs and smugglers are overrunning ranches.” Any shirking of the tiny border town would be akin to mission fail. The Czar is feeling the intense scrutiny on this very first visit to one of the nation’s top problem areas, and Abbott didn’t cut her any slack. He said:

“Texas residents have had their homes broken into, property damaged, and guns pointed at their heads as cartels, smugglers, and human traffickers profit off the Biden Administration’s reckless open-border policies.”

“Well, it’s obvious Trump is living rent-free in the Swampheads – and whether the second dude confirms or denies just take a gander at the timing of Trump’s invite and Harris’ cleared up schedule,” said JoJo Spiering of Covington, IN, who has relatives in Del Rio. “This lack of border protection will not end well.”

Harris Is Woke As Hell

Adding to her busy week of insulting folks and cackling through tough press questions, our lovely vice president also spent time with our LGBTQ friends by inviting gay and transgender people to her ceremonial office. No one is quite sure where or if she has an actual work office at this point. The Wednesday meet and greet, fawned over by the slobbering woke press, was a grand affair beginning with Harris’ opening statement: “I want to thank you and welcome you for being here. My pronouns are she and her.”

Who does that? Shawn Blimke, in Momence, IL, however, pointed out: “A vast amount of Americans have several different pronouns in their description of her as well!” Down the road a bit, Corey Strode in Aurora, IL, went a tad meaner: “Also ‘dumb—’, It’s a gender-neutral term.”

But Sammy Sutherland in the Show-Me State asked the real question in people’s minds: “Oooh, finally, I’m so relieved to hear this. Ya know what I would luv HER to do? Something that matters to American people, like save our babies. Ya think SHE could work on that?”

We’ll see if she can cackle her way out of that issue.
