Editor’s Note: While the media and other leftist elites ignore the millions of folks living in “flyover” states, they do so at their own peril; it was this silent majority that put President Trump in the White House. Each week, Liberty Nation gives voice to the hard-working heartlanders who are silent no more.
Appeasing only themselves, leftists in Congress and a handful of ne’er do well RINOs once again spent resources on hate rather than on doing the people’s work. President Donald Trump was impeached a second time, angering 73 million Americans who are still seething over an election with more red flags than a serial killer’s dumping ground. It appears the Democrats have forgotten how to go to work and get a job done that doesn’t involve bashing Trump.
And they aren’t alone: Folks in the media are finding it difficult to move on as well. In less than a week, they will have to report on Joe Biden. And that will be either too boring or downright riddled with confusion, and use of unfamiliar vernacular such as “malarkey” and “boondoggle,” or “whippersnapper,” and – a favorite in eons past –quockerwodger. That’s a puppet – and in the more modern sense, it doesn’t mean the cute primate sock kind.
Heartlanders are still full of anger and ire at the soon-to-be quockerwodger in chief. Those who have yet to be sentenced to social media prison for exercising freedom of speech had a lot to grumble about over leftists’ latest attempts at the sustained attack of opposing thoughts.
PBS Or China State Media?
Hot to the touch of late is the investigative reporting of Project Veritas. Last month it was exposing the plotting and scheming of news manipulation by CNN. This month, the latest undercover “gotcha” recording concerns a now-former Public Broadcasting Systems muckety-muck, Principal Counsel Michael Beller. Just a smidgeon of the conversation with Beller unveiled a level of hate only equal to that of CNN. In Beller’s own words, “Go to the White House & throw Molotov cocktails … we go for all the Republican voters, Homeland Security will take their children away …”
PBS was quick to shove Mr. Beller into oncoming bus traffic, and Lois Jones Buford of Mesquite, TX, shared her recent PBS notification: “I canceled my PBS ‘passport’ today.” Here’s is PBS’s underwhelming response:
“This employee no longer works for PBS. As a mid-level staff attorney, he did not speak on behalf of our organization, nor did he make any editorial decisions.”
Hell, they didn’t even have the good grace to call their former minion by his name – and then demoted the primary counsel guy to almost a coffee gopher. PBS continued a decent CYA monologue: “We strongly condemn violence and will continue to do what we have done for 50 years – use our national platform and local presence to strengthen communities and bring people together.”
Renee Brown Pritchett of Carrolton, GA, wasn’t suckered by PBS’s declaration:
“Pretty sure that nearly all of the elites on the left share the same thoughts & opinions as this evil & mentally disturbed individual. It may be shocking to some, but most of us know this is exactly what they think, even if they don’t always say it out loud.”
Bravo, to those folks at Project Veritas who continue to ferret out the left’s hypocrisy and true feelings about regular Americans.
Job Descriptions
On its own government web page, the House of Representatives explain the role of a member in the American government:
“Also referred to as a congressman or congresswoman, each representative is elected to a two-year term serving the people of a specific congressional district. Among other duties, representatives introduce bills and resolutions, offer amendments, and serve on committees.”
Nowhere does it say, “continue to obstruct with childish tantrums until you get your way.” Of course, that won’t be a problem for the next two years.
It is glaringly noted that the House hasn’t had time to change the official language they did get accomplished by removing any gender references – the only vote besides impeachment and invoking the 25th Amendment to be discussed. It would seem revenge against outgoing President Trump has kept the House busy holding investigations and impeachment votes without evidence of foul play.
Indianan James Himes opined: “Eight months to get a stimulus to help us but only minutes to vote on impeachment? They act only for their purpose. Not ours.”
Newly minted Representative Marjory Taylor Greene (R-GA) fired back with her ideas of who might need a good impeaching these days. On Twitter, Greene posted this announcement: “On January 21, 2021, I’ll be filing Articles of Impeachment against Joe Biden for abuse of power.” Well, as the saying goes, “turn-about is fair play,” and now we are dealing with a precedent in the lower chamber.
As retired cop Tim Edwards said, “Karma is a B—-. And this impeachment is actually legitimate.”
What will the quockerwodger in chief do now?
