Democrats recently commemorated the anniversary of the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol building by holding a series of events designed to further politicize the matter. With the Biden administration’s abysmal performance in its first year and Congressional Democrats’ failure to pass meaningful legislation, it seems the left believes weaponizing the riot is their best hope for retaining control of Congress after the midterm elections.
