The left has made some creative excuses for Hillary Clinton losing the 2016 General Election. Instead of accepting defeat and creating a potential solution, they ignore that Hillary was a flawed candidate. Somehow, they manage to forget the myriad health problems she tries to keep hidden that others often noticed. The left has continually pushed the Russia hoax, even though there is no evidence after a year and a half. The longer Mueller’s investigation goes, and the further away it moves from the alleged Russia probe, the louder the left screams Russia.

Barbara Streisand spoke with Variety Magazine earlier this week. During her interview, she made claims that there were senators who said Russians tampered with the voting machines. The interviewer allowed this claim with no follow-up questions. The reason is simple. Streisand was embellishing.

The Russian Infection

The last year and a half have been a host of Hollywood elites telling us that Russia infected our election and made Hillary Clinton lose. Barbara Streisand recently said, ”I really believe Hillary Clinton won the election.” Streisand claims the voter machines were affected, but they aren’t internet based. Her reason for believing this is she “talked to senators from Michigan and Wisconsin.” Streisand is as believable on the Russian hoax topic as much as Al Gore is on Climate Change. That is just an “inconvenient truth.”

Streisand went onto say the Russians were also involved in tampering with machines during the George W. Bush years. There are a couple of problems with this. One, does Streisand remember what “hanging chads” were in 2000? We need an explanation how Russians were able to punch ballots from Russia.  Secondly, where were the Russians in 2008? Why did they allow Obama to win? Or did they? In 2012, Obama was caught on a hot microphone telling outgoing Russian president Medvedev “tell Vladimir I will have more flexibility after the election.” Where was the media with collusion claims?

Streisand doesn’t care about fair and legal elections. She made no mention that the Democrat nomination process was rigged, unfairly stopping The Bern’s momentum. Streisand is ok with rigging elections as long as her candidate is the one who wins.

Understanding the Electoral College

Someone should tell Barb the Electoral College casts their vote based on the popular vote of the state, not the popular vote of the country in general. The non-internet based decentralized voting machines and electoral votes are too complicated for Russians to affect. She’s giving the comrades too much credit.

The left gives new scandal ideas to the mainstream media in hopes it will catch on. When it fails, leftists will start back on collusion narrative and form another story. Trump recently hit 49% in overall approval, which is better than Obama’s at this point in his presidency. Democrats should pay attention to the numbers above and the fact that Americans are becoming fatigued with the Russian collusion story. However, perhaps it would be better for the U.S. if Democrats continued with their fantasy and destroyed any real hopes of becoming an electoral force once more.
