Maxine Waters Outdoes Herself

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) must have gotten a memo indicating that the Democrats are thinking about her as the next House Speaker, or their presidential candidate in 2020.  Whatever it was, it kicked off guest appearances last week on the liberal talk show circuit, and she didn’t disappoint in showing her true colors.

Now she has gone viral and used these public platforms to fulfill her role as Auntie of the Resistance. She proclaims undying hatred toward President Trump and criticizes him for all types of terrible behavior.  She now calls for the impeachment of not just Trump but also Vice-President Pence.  Her ongoing rants are both hilarious and a bit scary to watch, as she unknowingly or unwittingly displays the very same behaviors she criticizes.

Last Friday, on ABC’s The View, Rep. Waters revealed that she supports illegal leaks of classified information even if they pose a threat to our national security.  Mad Max seemed outraged when one of the co-hosts said “yes, but we [Americans] don’t need to hear those conversations, ” and she responded by repeatedly yelling, “I need to hear them!”  Ms. Waters was clear on her message that it does not matter if America loses, or that it compromises our national security.  What is important is that she gets what she wants!

This from the woman who criticizes our president for not having any values or understanding the process of government.   During the same interview, she explained the problem with the people who support President Trump, when she emphatically stated, “they stick with him not because they think he is going change government as such.  I think they stick with him because he has made them believe that somebody else is responsible for their problems.”  Wait, what??  Isn’t that the the mantra of the left? It honestly appears she is never asked to explain the things she blurts out.

We all get it!  Maxine Waters is a self-proclaimed strong black woman who cannot be intimidated.  She has taken it upon herself to lead the fight against the president.  Her opinion might as well be gospel.  Rep. Waters doesn’t believe President Trump deserves to be president.  She didn’t like the campaign, she didn’t like the way he acted, and therefore he should not be president.

“He came to the presidency with the kind of character and background that made me distrust him, not honor him, and not respect him,” Waters said after listing several complaints about Trump’s conduct.  “He got the presidency because he was able to get those votes from those few states that put him in– made him the winner. And so he’s the president of the United States…”

Yes, Maxine, the people voted and your candidate lost. Remember the United States is a republic, and the candidate who gets the most electoral votes wins.  It’s actually in the US Constitution.  You rant and rave, at times like a lunatic, and will not listen to anyone or engage in meaningful discussion or dialogue.  You understand there will be a backlash against for your latest round of public cries for the impeachment of Trump and Pence – and you flat out don’t care.  It is all about what you feel.

A note of caution for Rep. Waters: “those who live in glass houses should not throw stones!”  Perhaps, as she basks in the glow of her newfound and undeniably hilarious fame, she should try something new: look in the mirror.
