Clinton’s Delusions and the Impact on America

by | Sep 15, 2017 | Politics

It has only been a week since Hillary Clinton released her fictional tale, er, memoir called “What Happened.” In the book, we have learned that she thinks George Orwell’s “1984” is about trusting authority and, of course, she blames everyone and everything for her epic loss. If you listen to the seven-hour book, we also discover that she is either a robot or was a hostage during recording.

To promote the book, the former Secretary of State has spoken with the news media and signed hard covers for her 65 million supporters over the last several days. Clinton will further push ahead with her two-nation tour to tell her side of the story.

It has been quite embarrassing, to say the least. Her promotional tour also reassures every American who did not vote for her that they made the right choice, whether it was for President Donald Trump, Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson, Green Party candidate Jill Stein, or Deez Nutz.

Let’s go through a rundown of the inane things she has uttered in the past week.

Blaming ‘Millions of White People’

In one of her first interviews in the national news media, Clinton sat down with CBS host Jane Pauley.

Clinton touched upon a wide array of issues, many of which were to blame for her electoral defeat. She echoed the sentiments of Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and the Counterfeit News Network when she said racism helped propel President Trump to the White House.

Ultimately, according to Clinton, it was because of “millions of white people” as well as sexism and misogyny that she did not become the first female president.

The former First Lady stated:

“He was quite successful in referencing a nostalgia that would give hope, comfort, settle grievances for millions of people who were upset about gains that were made by others.

“Millions of white people. Yeah. Millions of white people.”

The Washington Free Beacon put together a sublime summary of the CBS interview:

Is Hillary Clinton a Liar?

The former New York senator is not the epitome of an honest politician. In fact, to the average voter, she appears to be the exact opposite: cunning, dishonest and will do anything to be in power.

During the election campaign, there was a viral video showcasing all of Clinton’s lies and flip flops over the years.

Speaking in an interview with Vox’s Ezra Klein, Clinton claimed that she is not a liar and it isn’t in her nature to espouse “things that aren’t true”:

“I can’t change who I am. I knew that. I knew that I am not someone who will say things that aren’t true, that will not take responsibility. I had to run as me.

“I care about being absolutely as accurate as possible.

“I didn’t want to be either not telling the truth about what was going to happen [with any of my policy proposals] and not being responsible about what I thought we could do and get done together.”

The interview also revealed how big of a bubble she resides in. Clinton noted that one of the reasons why she lost was because of the “hostile” news media. That’s right. A national news media that colluded with the Clinton campaign, put forward mostly negative coverage of Candidate Trump and had a left-wing bias.

Destroying the U.S. Constitution

In two separate interviews, the American people find out that Clinton has a lot of contempt for the U.S. Constitution.

First, the two-time presidential candidate told Pod Save America that she wanted to repeal or rewrite the First Amendment:

“What I wanted to do is say, look, we need a whole different system, and so I said I was going for a constitutional amendment from day one on Citizens United because there’s no way to get to where I think we need to be unless we change the Constitution.”

It is too bad that the podcast hosts did not probe Clinton any further. But it shouldn’t be too surprising that the interviewers did not request for elaboration, considering that they were a part of the Obama administration: Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, Daniel Pfeiffer and Tommy Vietor.

Second, in a separate interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Clinton called for the end of the Electoral College. Instead of this republican form of government, Clinton wants to embrace the democratic principle of one person one vote.

Clinton told a gushing Cooper – it was more of an infomercial than an objective one-on-one:

“I said that in 2000, after what happened to the 2000 election with Al Gore. I was elected to the Senate that same year, and if you look at our recent history, we’ve had several candidates, nominees, who have won the popular vote, and lost the Electoral College. What does that say? It says that an anachronism that was designed for another time no longer works.

“We’ve moved toward one person one vote – that’s how we select winners. … So, I think it needs to be eliminated. I’d like to see us move beyond it, yes.”

Despite her ostensible concern for minorities, it looks like Clinton and other Democrats are indifferent to the minority of voters. The Electoral College protects the minority from the majority and gives states more power. Moreover, if the U.S. were to abolish the Electoral College, then presidential candidates

would simply campaign in California, New York, Texas and Florida rather than Wisconsin, South Dakota or Missouri.

It’s All Your Fault

Blame the Macedonians. Blame Alex Jones. Blame WikiLeaks. Blame Vladimir Putin. Blame Bernie Bros. It isn’t Hillary Clinton’s fault she lost; it is yours!

Many of Clinton’s critics joke that she should have stayed in the woods. However, her book, her media excursions and her cross-country trip are providing us with a treasure trove of information. This is information that tells us that she shouldn’t be anywhere near public office. The national spotlight has opened the curtain to her paranoia and delusion – who thinks the media were against her in 2016?

Someone who believes “1984” is about trusting leadership, the press and policymakers should not hold the highest office in the land. If she thinks this is the meaning of the landmark novel, then she must also support a Memory Hole, perpetual war against a fictitious enemy, socialist totalitarianism, televisions that spy on you and rat torture in Room 101.

Anyone would have been better than Clinton in 2016. Even Deez Nuts or Vermin Supreme.
